After a hard fought round with golfing buddy/mortgage broker Ed Bloom, Ed insisted on showing Mike a novelty golf ball idea that he wanted an opinion on. Mike's limited social skills found him telling Ed it was,…. “Cute at best, but not really funny.” Ed got mad and announced, “This is hard. You couldn’t do this!” What Ed had forgotten in his moment of frustration was that Mike is a comedian and did this kind of thing for a living. That next week, Mike showed up with prototypes for three of the packages on this site. Out of this 19th hole drinking crucible, came the Comedy Golf products you see today. Mike showed Paul what he was trying to do, and within 24 hrs. Paul had taken Mike’s concept and designed a great box. Without Paul, this whole project doesn’t get to Mike Horvath. Oh ya. When Mike showed John what he was trying to do, John unselfishly and brilliantly led Mike M to both Paul Matthews and Mike Horvath. Without John, no connections take place and nothing happens. Alyce was commissioned to work with Mike on all the photo shoots necessary for the cover art on the packages and the balls, …and then on the product shoot itself. Alyce is a very talented photographer, could talk a dog off a meat wagon, and Mike recommends you hire her. Mike was out front and Bill produced. Showing the patience of Job, just to work with Mike, Bill helped push Mike in the right direction. After a long time off from each other, Bill tossed aside his better judgment and put this site together with the help of Mike Horvath.
